North of England Association of Psychoanalytic Psychotherapists

The North of England Association of Psychoanalytic Psychotherapists (NEAPP) is a member institution of the British Psychoanalytic Council (BPC) with over thirty clinical members who are psychoanalysts, psychoanalytic and psychodynamic psychotherapists and child and adolescent psychotherapists.

NEAPP clinical members work in NHS settings and in private practice providing psychoanalytic and psychodynamic consultations and treatment, clinical supervision to other therapists and input to the development of psychoanalytic understanding in the North of England.

NEAPP is managed by a board responsible for its overall governance, a Training Committee responsible for the trainings offered, and a Professional Committee that functions to develop and maintain professional development in association with the clinical membership.
