Northern Ireland Mural Art Group Experience
Organised by:
Ulster University
Description
Participants Needed: Explore the Impact of Murals in Northern Ireland
Northern Ireland’s murals are more than just art – they tell stories, spark emotions, and shape how we see the world. But how do they speak to you? Ulster University PhD researcher Niamh Callaghan is inviting participants to take part in a thought-provoking study that explores the hidden ways murals influence our feelings, thoughts, and connections.
Are You:
18 or older?
Living in the North of Ireland/Northern Ireland OR the South of Ireland?
Curious about murals and open to sharing your thoughts in a group setting?
What’s the Experience Like?
Step into a Visual Matrix – A 2 hour group-based experience designed to explore shared reactions to mural images. Discover the hidden connections and influences that murals may have on our lives. (Light refreshments provided!)
Why Take Part?
This is an opportunity to explore the art and identity of Northern Ireland in a whole new way. Reflect on what these murals mean to the viewer and contribute to research into how public art shapes our communities.
