Join us for an engaging workshop and masterclass focused on group analytic consultations within organisations. This session is designed for professionals working in or with organizations who wish to explore group analytic thinking as an additional lens to enhance their work and practice.
Masterclass with Gerhard Wilke:
Renowned independent organisational consultant and author, Gerhard Wilke, will share his expertise on the interaction between leaders, executive groups, and organisational culture.
The event aims to offer an understanding of leadership of teams, services, company units, and organisations, from a group analytic perspective. Also to describe the praxis of group analytic organisational work as an empirical and successful way of attending to organisational challenges.
Understanding and harnessing large group dynamics is key for those that seek to affect efficient, lasting and sustainable change in organisations. The event will also offer two large group reflective experiences to the participants for exploration and consolidation for the reflections.
Large Group 1: offering a large group space facilitated by group analysts to reflect on the themes evoked in the masterclass session with particular focus on organisational functioning
Large Group 2: offering a large group space facilitated by group analysts to reflect on the themes evoked in the masterclass session with particular focus on leadership
Gerhard Wilke is an independent organisational consultant, group analyst and anthropologist, an international expert in organisational work and leadership development. He specialises in the psychological factors that help and hinder individuals, teams and organisations. He is Honorary Fellow of the Royal College of GPs and of the International Association of Group Therapists. Gerhard Wilke Has published many articles and chapters in a range of books in the fields of Literature, History, Group Analysis and Leadership and Organisational Culture Development. He co-authored the very successful book ‘Living Leadership, a practical guide for ordinary heroes, published by the Financial Times.
