I am a qualified and experienced Child and Adolescent Counsellor. I hold and Msc in Psychodynamic Counselling and Psychotherapy with Children and Adolescents I am a Registered BPC Child and Adolescent Psychodynamic Counsellor.

Working with Children and Adolescents is a specialised field and my training has equipped me to be able to use skills and approaches that allow me to work with young children who may not have the emotional vocabulary to express themselves. When working with younger children I use play and other creative ways of engaging with them in order to help them to make meaning to their distress. I work in a non directive way with both Children and Young People up to the age of 25. When working with Adolescents and Young Adults I can take a more 'traditional' talking therapy approach or use a creative one depending on what works best for them.

I am a licensed Circle of Security Facilitator. This is attachment based programme for parents and their children (up to 5years) supports and explores with parents their relationships with their children in order to strengthen these early and crucial bonds.
