Hello,

I am an understanding and caring psychodynamic counsellor with over ten years’ experience and I am a registered member of the British Psychoanalytic Council (BPC) and British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP). Additionally, I have practised as a pharmacist in the community for many years. I provide open-ended psychodynamic counselling online via Zoom and via telephone.

I offer a confidential, safe and non-judgemental space where your thoughts and feelings can be brought, shared and explored. I work with a wide range of client issues that include: low self-esteem, relationship problems, addictions, anxiety, depression and a sense of detachment/loneliness.

We are all capable of holding on to emotions such as doubt, mistrust, fear, anger and resentment. Sometimes at a deep level we may even judge ourselves to be fundamentally flawed in some way (particularly when nobody has provided us with the emotional and relational support that we need). Understanding and contextualising such damaging beliefs and ideas loosens their hold over us!

In fact, by exploring the psychodynamics of our inner world, developing our self-awareness and illuminating blind-spots, we become increasingly able to identify our full range of options in relationships and better at making choices that are genuinely right for us. Finding true independence of mind and empowerment in decision making leads to real sense of purpose and direction!
