Chiara Mion

I am a registered Psychodynamic Psychotherapist working in South West London. I provide one-to-one therapy sessions in a safe, private and non judgemental space. Together, we can address and explore the issues that you feel are troubling you – in your work, your relationships or any other part of your life.

I have experience working with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, loss (bereavement, redundancy, divorce), low self-esteem, difficulties around becoming a first-time mother, trauma and abuse.

Having lived and worked in different countries, I embrace new cultures and understand the challenges around diversity, identity, sense of belonging, feeling lost in the world and pressurised life transitions in general.

I am currently offering psychotherapy in person, online and over the phone (call or video).
Sessions can take place in English or in Italian.
I abide by the Code of Ethics and Practice of my Professional Standards Authority Registers (UKCP, BPC). I have Professional Indemnity Insurance.

Alongside my private practice I work as a psychotherapist at the Trauma Unit of the Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust.
I am also a seminar leader on the Foundation Certificate in Counselling Skills at WPF Therapy and a member of the FPC (Foundation for Psychotherapy and Counselling) Trainee Liaison Committee.

I am an approved provider for Cigna International and AXA PPP Private Health Insurance.
