About Ella Tomlin

As an experienced Psychodynamic Psychotherapist I work alongside you to help explore, overcome or better cope with what's troubling you.

Whatever you are facing, I am practiced in working with specific issues such as low mood, anxiety, depression, loss, loneliness, trauma and relational difficulties, as well as the many other challenges we encounter. I also work with people who feel curious to know more about who they are or want to reassess where they are in life. I offer a space to think about things together, to help you find your own way forward.

What can you expect?

I work analytically and empathically, encouraging ‘free association’ where we explore how you are feeling and thoughts that come up in the process. The aim is to help you communicate more openly, to start to know your feelings and motivations and move forward with greater confidence. Importance is placed on early experiences and relationships and how they might impact us as adults both consciously and unconsciously.

I offer once or twice weekly therapy. Sessions are held at the same time each week, in person in Easton, Bristol or via Zoom and last for 50 minutes.

How do we get started?

You can call or email me with any questions or to set up an initial consultation where I can learn a bit more about what brings you to therapy and we can decide if we go ahead and work together and for how long.
