Liam Bierschenk

I am a qualified Psychoanalyst, Dynamic Interpersonal Therapy Practitioner (DIT), Mentalization Based Treatment Practitioner (MBT) and Art Psychotherapist. I am also training for accreditation as a Transference Focused Psychotherapist (TFP).
I specialize in Personality Disorders, long-term difficulties managing emotions, problems in relationships, depression, anxiety, self-injurious behaviours, as well as problems of a more generalized nature that are felt to be holding the person back and not living to ones full potential. Underpinning these various therapies is the belief in the need to look deeply at ones problems, beyond the surface manifestations, and the central significance of the therapeutic relationship as the cornerstone for change, as epitomized by the psychoanalytic approach. I can offer sessions between once and five times a week.
