Jake Fletcher
Psychodynamic Psychotherapist
About Jake Fletcher
I am an experienced Psychodynamic Psychotherapist as well as an Associate Lecturer / Tutor in psychoanalytic practice at the University of Roehampton and at the Society of Analytical Psychology (SAP), where I also work with the C.G. Jung Clinic.
Throughout my career, I have worked as a psychotherapist in a number of clinical settings including: NHS Psychotherapy departments in hospitals, a GP Practice and the C.G. Jung Clinic. For a number of years, I worked at the Arbours Association supporting severely emotionally disturbed residents in a therapeutic community. Prior to this, I was a key-worker in a substance misuse rehabilitation centre.
I have undergone a rigorous five year training in psychodynamic psychotherapy at the SAP which is accredited by the British Psychoanalytic Council and the International Association for Analytical Psychology (IAAP).
I am passionate about working with people who are suffering emotionally and need relief from their symptoms as well as wishing to gain a deeper understanding of themselves. My experience has shown me that our working together can encourage a new dynamic relationship with yourself and others.
I am dedicated to my work and know that it can bring about meaningful change. I am able to meet with you for either once or twice weekly sessions at my consulting room in person but I can also work online if necessary.
If you are thinking about having psychotherapy and would like to meet I suggest that we have an initial consultation.
