Michelle Mclean
Psychodynamic Psychotherapist
About Michelle Mclean
I am a psychodynamic psychotherapist working with a wide variety of emotional difficulties, mental health challenges and relationship issues.
I provide a nonjudgmental, confidential, safe and welcoming space for you to talk about any issues that might be concerning you. I am trauma-informed and have extensive experience working with a wide range of issues.
People come to see me for all kinds of reasons including anxiety, depression, trauma, loss, and relationship or family difficulties.
I understand that contacting a therapist may feel daunting. The first step is to get in touch via email. I will respond to you promptly and offer you an initial session. During our first sessions, we can explore what has brought you to therapy and how I may be of help in a safe, non-judgmental and confidential setting. I have experience working with people from a wide range of backgrounds and cultures.
I offer both open-ended and fixed-term therapy. We can discuss both options and decide together which is best suited to your needs and expectations. I offer face-to-face and online sessions.
I completed a rigorous four-year training at WPF Therapy and I hold a Postgraduate Diploma in Psychodynamic Theory and Practice accredited by the University of Roehampton.
I am a member of the BPC (British Psychoanalytic Council), UKCP ( UK Council for Psychotherapy) and FPC (Foundation for Psychotherapy and Counselling).
