Sarah Bastianello

I am an accredited psychodynamic psychotherapist with two master’s degrees in
psychology and psychodynamic approaches. With years of experience across various
sectors—including inpatient NHS hospitals, community settings, schools, and mental health charities— I am committed to supporting children, young people, and parents.

Specializing in early attachment and relational difficulties, I have a strong focus on
helping young people who face challenges such as low mood, childhood trauma, and social isolation. Additionally, I collaborates with parents to enhance their relationships with their children of all ages.

I have also worked for local authorities to support families of children with additional
needs, from complex physical needs to autism. By utilizing play therapy, I promote
child development and fosters communication and connection between parent and child, while also being able to assist families in navigating local authority resources and services.
