Kirk Young

I provide psychodynamic psychotherapy at a frequency of one to two sessions weekly.

I currently work at a specialist psychoanalytic psychotherapy service within the NHS, providing longer term individual and group psychotherapy. I’ve worked in NHS secondary care and specialist services for 10 years.

Alongside my core training in mental health nursing, I’ve completed further clinical training in mentalization based treatment at the Anna Freud Centre, group psychotherapy with Group Analysis North and social dreaming with the Social Dreaming International Network.

I hold a masters degree in psychodynamic psychotherapy through the Tavistock and Portman and Essex University. I’m currently completing a clinical doctorate focused on epistemic trust and clinical practice.
