I offer one-to-one psychodynamic psychotherapy in a confidential setting. This form of therapy focuses carefully on what you bring, while seeking different ways of listening to, and understanding what those concerns might mean. This can help you develop a deeper understanding of your emotions, why you might behave in certain ways, and how this might affect your relationships. The aim is to address what's beneath the surface so that long-lasting change can flourish.

Typically, I work with people in an open-ended format and this is something I specialise in, but I also offer shorter-term counselling. We can work together in-person in one of my consulting rooms in St Albans or in Golders Green, opposite the underground station. I also offer remote options like telephone or online.

I am an experienced Psychotherapist and Counsellor, registered with both the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and the British Psychoanalytic Council (BPC). My qualifications include:

In addition to my private practice, I hold an NHS psychotherapy position in cancer and palliative care. Previously, I gained experience working with complex personality disorders at a London NHS hospital.

I have worked with clients facing a wide range of mental health issues, including depression, anxiety, anger, a sense of meaninglessness, childhood trauma, relational difficulties, body dysmorphia, personality disorders, characterological challenges, psychosomatic symptoms, autistic traits, identity issues, grief, loss, life-limiting illnesses, cancer, and low self-confidence.
