Sheila McKinley
Psychodynamic Psychotherapist
About Sheila McKinley
I am a psychodynamic psychotherapist with a private practice in Isleworth, West London.
Psychotherapy can help if you are finding life a struggle. Perhaps you are feeling life is meaningless or your relationships seem empty. Perhaps you have suffered a bereavement or feel depressed. Maybe you find yourself feeling out of control or stressed about everything.
It is important to find a psychotherapist you feel you can trust, so you can talk openly about how you feel. Our first session will give you the time and space to decide if we can work together. If you would like to continue we would meet every week at the same time for 50 minutes.
I am experienced in both short-term and longer-term psychotherapy, seeing people either once or twice a week. I also supervise counsellors and psychotherapists, who want to consider a psychodynamic perspective. I practice confidentially and abide by my professional bodies Codes of Ethics. I am committed to continuous professional development.
