About Luisa Marino
Psychoanalyst, psychotherapist and clinical psychologist, member of the International Psychoanalytical Association (I.P.A.). I work in private practise in London, at Hanover Square 14, W1S 1HN.
I see adults, adolescents and couples for clinical psychological services, psychotherapy (short and long term) and psychoanalysis.

I worked at Padua University, Faculty of Psychology, as a Lecturer in 1998 on various researches in psychoanalysis and taught courses on: psychoanalysis, psychoanalytical models, adolescence, psysomatic theories in psychoanalysis, mind/body.
From 2009 till now I taught at the University School of Psychotherapy of Life Circle and taught Psychoanalytic Psychodiagnosis and acted as supervisor at the Department Clinic of Padua University.
From 1997 to 2002 : group researching Psychoanalytical oriented Psychotherapy, time limited, at the Padua University. This psychotherapeutic model is a time limited (six months) therapy. We published a book: “Time of Separation: A model of brief Psychotherapy Psychoanalytically oriented and time limited” in collaboration – among others – with Prof Enrico Mangini.
From 1998 to 2004 I took part of a research group on “Adolescence” with Professor Agostino Racalbuto (Training analyst, S.P.I.) and others on “adolescence related issues”. The group published several books for which I wrote two chapters on body/mind relation, psysomatic, drug addiction in adolescence and psychoanalysis.
From 1998 to April 2012 I worked with psychiatric patients at the University Psychiatric Clinic of the Padua Hospital and from 2001 in Clinics for drug addicted and dual diagnosis patients, as Group and individual Psychotherapist Psychoanalytically oriented.
I was President of the International Psychoanalytical Studies Organization (IPSO) between 2008/2011. I worked to increase Members’ benefits in collaboration with the I.P..A.; with I.P.A. Committee on Psychoanalytical Prospective of Ageing (dr Junkers and dr Hooke) we presented during the EPF in London 2010, Copenhagen 2011, Mexico, 2011, Paris 2012, Basel 2013.
In 2017 our book (with Franco Borgogno and Alberto Luchetti) Reading Italian Psychoanalysis (Routledge, 2016), has been awarded Best Edited book 2017 by the Americans Board & Academy of Psychoanalysis, for scholarly contribution in advancing psychoanalysis.
Currently I am Chair of the IPA Psychoanalyst Emigration and relocating Committee.
