About Catherine Farrell
I am a registered psychoanalytic psychotherapist and DIT practitioner and supervisor and a member of the Council for Psychoanalysis and Jungian Analysis College. I have over 20 years experience as a psychoanalytic psychotherapist and have a background in general and mental health nursing. I work predominantly in the NHS as a Principal Psychotherapist and have a small private practice. In my clinical practice I provide brief dynamic interpersonal therapy (DIT) and for complex cases (DITCC). I am a qualified DIT supervisor and have experience of supervising trainees on the 5 day and 20 day DIT training at Anna Freud Centre. I find the DIT model a rewarding therapy to provide and aim to make supervision an informative and enjoyable experience.
