Supporting the NHS during Covid-19
The Coalition for Psychoanalysis in the NHS has published ‘Supporting the NHS During Covid-19’ to outline the essential role psychoanalytically informed practitioners are playing in supporting NHS staff and the wider community during Covid-19.
The BPC and the other members of the Coalition are working to maintain and support the development of psychoanalytically informed clinical work and thinking in the NHS, to improve outcomes for patients and to support the wellbeing of staff.
Through a number of case studies, the briefing outlines the expertise and experience of psychoanalytic practitioners and their contribution in building and sustaining the resilience and effectiveness of the health service as it meets the challenges of moving through the pandemic.
