About us
10 Windsor Walk (10WW) is a Community Interest Company established by local therapists concerned to address the provision of intensive psychological services for those most in need.

We meet the needs of local therapists and the community by providing psychotherapy treatment rooms and space for training and events related to developing psychotherapy services. More than this, we are a hub where therapists and psychoanalysts can meet, work together and exchange ideas on developing the practice as a whole.

Affordable treatment: We run low- and no-fee psychotherapy for those in need in the local community, alongside Trainees from the Institute of Psychoanalysis who offer low fee psychoanalysis.
Community space: We run a weekly therapeutic playgroup for parents and toddlers seeking sanctuary in South London. Other public programmes include a monthly Psychoanalytic Film Club and we are also developing a therapeutic community garden.
Education centre: We host lectures, seminars, steering groups and specialist training for psychotherapists, psychoanalysts, NHS staff and the general public.

About the role
We are seeking a compassionate and proactive Outreach Coordinator for our award-winning Therapeutic Playgroup (also known as the Therapeutic Parent, Baby and Toddler group), held on Friday mornings. This role will serve as a key point of contact for playgroup attendees, helping to arrange activities outside term time, support families, and foster a sense of community.
As a small and dedicated team, we’re looking for someone who shares our commitment to improving the mental health of parents and children under five, many of whom are facing challenging circumstances. This role is a mix of remote and in-person work, with meetings at 10 Windsor Walk (SE5) and leading group trips around London.

Responsibilities:

Undertake research and collate records for activities and external support services (e.g clothing and food aid) to attend outside of the Therapeutic Playgroup.
Ensure the smooth operation of the Therapeutic Playgroup outreach projects and activities.
Supporting families during activities and trips along with one key 'responsible parent' and volunteers as needed.
Contact attractions/galleries/museums and other places of interest, as expressed by Therapeutic Playgroup Attendees to arrange special visits or discounted admission.
Support the Therapeutic Playgroup team in the planning and delivery of outreach events.
Support the Therapeutic Playgroup team with AV/digital outreach projects and online communications, such as promotional videos and social channels.
Maintain accurate records of the work carried out in a format mutually agreed with the Therapeutic Playgroup Leader.

Person Specification - Skills & Experience Required:

Essential
Experience working with families with young children, particularly in community or mental health settings.
Knowledge of parental and early childhood mental health, including the challenges faced by parents and children under five.
Strong organisational and planning skills, with the ability to coordinate activities, manage schedules, and keep accurate records.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with sensitivity to the needs of families seeking sanctuary or facing hardship.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a small, mission-driven team.
Competency in digital tools (email, social media platforms, video conferencing, and basic AV editing for outreach projects).
Desirable
Familiarity with local resources and services for families, including food/clothing aid and cultural attractions in London.
Experience coordinating group activities, trips, or events in a professional or volunteer capacity.
Creative thinking and problem-solving skills, especially when arranging partnerships or accessing resources for families.
Multilingual skills or experience working in multicultural environments.
