We are looking for an experienced psychonalyst/ psychoanalytic psychotherapist (child or adult) to bring their interest and expertise in film and psychoanalysis to teach on the MA in Psychoanalytic Studies (M16), at the Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust.
You would teach eight weekly seminars on Tuesdays 15 April to Tuesday 10 June 2025 inclusive (with a break for reading week), 3.30pm-4.30pm. Seminars take place in person at the Tavistock and Portman in Swiss Cottage.

The Applications Module encourages learning about the links between psychoanalytic understandings of human experience and cultural phenomena. We are looking for a clinician to develop and teach eight seminars linking a diverse range of film and approaches to understanding film and psychoanalytic theory.

In addition to delivering seminars, teachers attend staff meetings, mark, and assess students’ work in November 2025. Teachers are employed and paid on a visiting lecturer basis, for all teaching, marking and meetings.
