Elena Pollard

I worked for over 25 years in St. Thomas Hospital Psychotherapy Department (NHS) as a Senior Psychotherapist and Supervisor. I also worked in Primary Care at various GP Surgeries and in Private Practice. My background is in Social Work and I qualified as a Psychoanalytic Psychotherapist in 1989.
I am a Senior Member of the British Psychanalytic Foundation (BPF) and registered with BUPA. I am also an accredited Dynamic Interpersonal Therapist (DIT). This is a 16-sessions focused psychodynamic therapy.
I work in English and Spanish. My main areas of interest are: difficulties with relationships; difficulties in the work environment; psychosomatic problems; physical, emotional and sexual abuse; feeling distress, anxiety and depression; loss and bereavement. I am also interested in music and have done therapy with music students.
